I'm so glad that you are reading my blog! It really does make me happy. I just want to say I do not try to offend with anything I put here, but this is where I put my rambling thoughts and adventures I am having while raising my family.
So if I make you mad when you read what I wrote I'm sorry, it's just my opinion and my outlook on life. (Hopefully) Happy continued reading!

Post it like you stole it!
I'm an honest girl, I hold a current recommend, so I am just going to admit it. I was out blog stalking tonight and found this quote. I loved it, so I stole it. I don't think it was copyrighted or anything and I'm going to guess that Sister Hinckley would want it to be shared. So here is a gem, and my renewed focus of life.
I won't be mad if you steal it either, I think we all need remember the big picture.
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautiful tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenk's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my nails from helping weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheek and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived. "

Land that I LOVE...
I love America. I love freedom. I love this country that was set aside to be the land for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be restored in. I loathe what happened yesterday with the passage of so called "healthcare reform".
We absolutely do NOT need one more thing to answer to the government about. Actual reform would have included some tort reform, across state lines competetion, and so on. It would not have included penalties for not having insurance, or huge tax increases.
My heart is mourning for America today. How many people have died fighting for our freedom? I know both of my own grandfathers risked thier lives to fight in WWII. One of them flew in a B-17 in missions over Berlin and the other fought in the Battle of Iwa Jima. Both brave men fighting and risking thier lives for our freedom, that dishonest politicans throw away for bribes and to take more control over us.
I am sick over the country my children and their children will have to grow up in and what we are leaving them to pay for. I do not believe in abortion, I do not want my taxes going to pay for it. The number of people who died on Sept. 11th is equal to the number of abortions daily. Are we ignorant enough to actually believe that God will just ignore that? I don't think so.
We are a country who has forgotten God, we are a people who don't understand our own personal worth to Him. I fear until we remember Him from which all blessings come, our daily worldly lives will become worse and worse everyday. I only hope education reform isn't next.

With a cherry on top...
Well, how do you top a really rotten day? Today mine is with a broken shower curtain pole at 10:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. It goes along great with the rest of the day that included a fight with my husband, baby boy's diaper leaking on the couch pillow, a home improvement project gone terribly wrong, and being 2 hours late to one of my very best friends birthday parties. So I hope the morning breaks the shadows clear, and my life improves!

I have been in a funk lately. I don't know what my problem is lots of good things have been happening in my life, but also lots of difficult things. Sometimes keeping the balance is challenging. I will post some pictures of our adventures we have had lately. Some cool things, so stayed tuned. I will be to regular old me soon.

Well, HELLO!!!
Hello my old friend Spring! My, how I have missed you. It's only about 50 degrees outside, but the sun is shining and the breeze feels like it wants to bring warm air back! I heard some birds singing yesterday and I stopped for a minute to just listen. I think Spring is exactly what my soul needs now. Sunshine, warmer temperatures, and the ability to go outside without freezing! Welcome back friend!
